The Forest and Co. – An Interiors Homewares Store you Need to Know About

We paid a visit to our friends at The Forest and Co which is a beautiful fantastic interior homeswares store in Dartington, who also have an extensive online shop.  The beautifully curated furniture, lighting, home accessories, and gifts have a boho retro vibe that would add style and character to any home, old or new.

As you enter the shop it is hard to know where to look first. Each corner is filled with beautifully crafted pieces that catch your eye. I’m sure it means they are doing something right when you want to buy every single thing in a store.  This place is a lesson how to make space interesting.

The business was started by Elaine as a sideline at her kitchen table 10 years ago, and has progressed over the last 10 years to the bustling hub of orders they now process daily.

Elaine and her team are brilliant at selecting what will work for each season and put perfectly curated collections to create sumptuous settings for any corner of the home. The finishing of any project is really in the details and they have everything you need to pull off some serious modern glamour.

Furniture and accessories in natural materials offset against metal elements, greenery and the odd splash of velvet and tassels offer a touch of drama and a cool quirky look.    The dark walls are strong and masculine, yet delicate feminine touches are added with glass pendant lights and ceramic and metallic trinkets and plant pots and mirrors.
